Final Cut Pro Tip #014 – Save Often
Don’t be disappointed by this topic, it is a valuable and IMHO necessary tip. Enjoy!
While many of us rely on the Auto Save feature in FCP, it is not always a bulletproof solution. So save regularly and make it easy to do. If you have a three or more button mouse, simple program an extra button as a save command (this is done with the mouse drivers outside of FCP). Or add the save command on you button bar, and get in the habit of saving every time you pause slightly. Once you get used to it you will probably never need to go to the autosave vault.
