The new Apple TV arrived yesterday, much to my surprise. I was able to set it up and test and give it a go. Here are my initial impressions.
The new Apple TV is much like the older version of the Apple TV. The interface is similar an it works as expected. The big caveat is the lack of local storage. If I want to watch content off my computer I need to make sure that my computer is one. While this is not always an issue it can be problematic depending on when and how I want to watch.
Netflix is great, and I think will be used occasionally.
TV show rentals. While I was excited about this originally the lack of content makes it seam a little lack luster. For now the way I consume TV will limit the way I use the new Apple TV.
